How do we make a future Heirloom?

There is no better way to start than the way we do hand-selecting the finest wood available for each piece we make.

There are other best things, too. Like the quality of our workmanship. When we say we have a factory, we don't mean you'll find an assembly line here. Our European reproductions are hand-built with pride by dedicated artisans, each highly trained in his craft, using on the best time-tested methods of furnituremaking. We employ techniques used 150 years ago, many of which are not remembered (or known) by other high end manufacturers.

Our exclusive focus still remains making top-quality furniture that we price competitively without cutting corners. No detail is overlooked. Most table tops are laminated with solid stock. Our drawers are dovetailed, front and back, and feature dust stops. Each drawer slide is solid-ball-bearing, running the length of the track. They'll work smoothly, silently and safely for the full life of the piece, as will the state-of-the-art lift mechanisms in our entertainment centers and the pocket-door hardware in our armoires.

We make sure our furniture's beauty is fully matched by its durability. Our hand-rubbed finishes add life, not just luster. The strength of our interior double-wall construction, visible in these photos, provide long-lasting structural integrity. You can rest assured that your heirs will be fighting over your Sterling Collection furniture for many generations to come.
